Grace United Church’s Ministry of Music has a long tradition of excellence. Organists have included Mr. H.Wm. Hawke and Dr. Graham George. Grace Church Senior Choir is a volunteer choir of 22 mixed voices. Some of our members have joined us in the last year - others have sung in the choir for over 50 years. Each and every valued member makes a significant contribution to the life of Grace Church. Choir practice is a mixture of learning, hard work and lots of fun. New members are always welcome.
Paul Harding (B.Mus., B.Ed. Queen’s University) has been Organist and Choirmaster at Grace United Church since 1968, and taught Music for the Leeds and Grenville and Upper Canada District School Boards at Athens High School and Gananoque Secondary School from 1974 to 2001.
Paul has been active on the music scene in the Kingston area as a rock musician, accompanist and musical director for four decades. Actively involved in musical theatre, he has been musical director, pit musician and composer for more than 30 musicals, both amateur and professional.
Our ministry of music is a very important part of our worship and is evident by our accomplished Choirmaster and choir.
